Here are some lessons for Early Years and Primary for Bluebot:
Spatial Reasoning and Bluebot
You will need:
a set of pentominos
5- 15cm tiles (see pic above)
Bluebot
dry erase markers
This activity involves the spatial reasoning concepts of locating, orienting, mapping and coding, and perspective taking. This involve visualization, spatial language, and gesturing.
Students choose 1 pentomino and build it with the tiles. They will then code Bluebot to travel the entire pentomino. Some students may find it helpful to use dry erase markers to show the directions on the tiles.
